What a Jealous God We Serve

Text: Det 4:24-29

Satan is jealous and envious of God.

The cause of Gods Jealousy
A. He created us - vs. 24, 32 - God, Judge, Creator

• People do not accept God because they don't want to be judged.
• Isaiah 43:1 -  He created us - The Trinity
• God took the time to form us individually

B. He cleanses us - vs. 23

• Genesis 12-15 (Abraham doughts the path)
• God kept his covenant with Abraham.
• John 3 (we are condemned already when we are born.)
• God is jealous God because he forgives us of our sin and we run right to it... Again, again, and again.
• Isaiah 43:1b, 11, 14, 25.

C. He cares for us Isaiah 43:18-20

• GOD PROVIDES, not satan.

The competition for our affection.

A. The competition is inferior - Ex 20:3-5

• Pay attention to the Capital G in God, the lower g in god means other god's that are not higher than him he is the only one.
• God is omnission, omnipresent (everywhere) you can't fool God.

B. The competition is Iniquitous - vs. 24-25

• Satan is out to destroy you, your marriage, your children...
• He is an expert at glimpse & glamour... Prov 6:27

The consequences of our unfaithful nest - James 4:4

A. On the Seducer - Nah 1:2

B. On the Saved - Ex 2:5

• (If you are giving to serve other gods, you hate him)
• You have to work and fight for your victory even if you are the 3rd, 4th generation.
• You don't need to be perfect just your compassion and you need to care.

God's compassion toward the repentant - vs. 29-31

• Build Integrity (Truth) with God

• Restraint - Restraint our tongue criticism, gossip, swear words, etc.
• Control your tongue - control your body... don't stop to their level!

The Purpose of Life

Text: Isaiah 6:1-8

• Sit or Serve
• Are you out of balance?

1. The Dream of Isaiah - vs.1
• 1 Corinthians 13 (no more vision, or dreams)
2. The Declarations of Angels - vs.2
• God and Angels do not look like paintings make them appear. 
• 6:2 - gives us a description of angels
• The Bible also tells us that men shouldn't have long hair, go into history and check out the style of men and woman of the days.
• Everything God created has a purpose.
• Are you doing what God wants you to do daily... Everything you do!
• Does God send people to Hell that haven't heard the name of Jesus? Yes, why?? We live in a sinful world. Revelations 12:8
• God is a loving and unjust God.
• Is our job as Christians to tell people of this world, about being forgiven for their sins.
3. The Domination of Gods presence - vs.4
• The power under control equals weakness.
• You have FREE will to act on your own.
• We need to be plugged into God at all times.
4. The Depression of Isaiah - vs.5
• 2 Corinthians 10:12 (measuring or comparing)
• Romans 3:10 (non-riches)
• Isaiah 64:6
• Stop sugar coding your sins, learn to hate and fight for your sins.
5. The Distillation of Isaiah's sin - vs.6-7
• Wash your sins away, get on your knees and pray.
6. The Dialogue of the trinity - vs.8
• God is everything I am nothing
• Matthew 22:14
• The distance between you and God is the length of your sins.

• We can't trust our heart, reasoning or our flesh.
• Go back to the word of God to get the negative stuff out of our mind.
• Psalms 119 - - - Keep going back - - -
• The character of purity... when things are not clean, look the other way - Genesis 39:9
• With a man is sight, so us as a woman we must be careful.
• We must recognize the Fireri dots and how to stop them.
• Build relationships with your family.
• Psalms 40:8 - - - Fighting the flesh, we need to do Gods will. Our heart is our spirit, not our fleshly heart.
• Proverbs 12:22; Ephesians 4:15 - Speaking the truth.
