Thanksgiving
The United States of America has set aside the fourth Thursday of every November as a day to be thankful unto God. You may be thankful for many things, but have you ever given thanks for...
I. The Forgiveness of Sin
Because we are sinners, we are thankful that God forgives sins. All men are sinners ad stated in Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Your sin is what makes you guilty before God and in need of forgiveness. Ephesians 1:7 says, "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sin,.."
II. The Pardon From Punishment
We are thankful that though our sin deserves death in hell, Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection pardoned all of our sin. Romans 6:23 tells us "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Though all of our sins have been pardoned, a pardon is of no value if it is not accepted.
III. The Offer to All
We are thankful that God's gift is for all. God says in II Peter 3:9 that he is, "...not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance,.." You must decide to accept God's pardon by having "...repentance toward the God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ," Acts 20:21. To receive God's offer of eternal life (Heaven) we must confess and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9 says, "That if though shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
The only way to be truly thankful for Christ's payment for your sin is if you have received Christ's pardon. This pardon may be received by repenting of your sin and praying in faith the following prayer or one similar to it:
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, please forgive me of my sin, and take me to heaven when I doe. I believe that you died and rose again for me. I am trusting you completely and nothing I can do. Thank you Jesus! Amen

Why I love to to be modest in just wearing dresses and skirts…
- If you have trouble getting into it or out of it, it is probably not modest.
- If you have to be careful when you sit down or bend over, it is probably not modest.
- If people look at any part of your body before looking at your face, it is probably not modest.
- If you can see your most private body parts or an outline of those parts under the fabric, it is probably not modest.

Why I use the KJV Bible (KJV-King James Version)
The pastor decided to have a service about why to use only the KJV bible, and the truth came out on all these other versions. I've been doing my own little research, and there are so many Christians who already talk about this topic its amazing. Here are few websites you can go check out on your own;
https://www.jesus-is-lord.com/nivdelet.htm - They have a whole segment on why not to use the NIV version (New International Version).
http://www.av1611.org/biblevs.html - They have a chart on how many things are missing in other bible versions.
Here is a video also on youtube on why not to use other bible versions;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFtI_mVOXbQ
Please be careful when you are watching or doing research as you will have non-believers twisting your faith.
This is why I stick to my own research, I have my original KJV bible, Webster dictionary, bible dictionary, a notebook, and my color pencils so as to aid me in studying my bible.
Here a few pointers to daily studying the KJV bible.
- Always start with prayer
- Select a chapter and start reading

How does your study looks like?
A thinking moment... This morning I thought I shared what my bible study looks like after studying my section, the question is how does yours look like? My husband doesn't scribble in his bible, looks like it came straight out of the box, but he does have a notebook that has his notes and scribbles that he understands. If your bible is too clean are you studying enough, do you have that special notebook, are taking enough notes, are you soaking the word off God as you should? I know I am are you?

- Bread broken to satisfy our need for salvation...
III. My Bread for Today
- Part of curse (Genesis 3:19)
- Daily Bread (Matthew 6:11)
- We do not live by bread alone (Matthew 4:4)
- Need more than necessary food (Job 23:12)
CHALLENGE:
- Look to Jesus for your spiritual sustenance each day, throughout the day, all day.
- Eat the bread for the day, even if it is bread of sorrows, afflictions, or adversity.
- Break bread with others; share Christ with others.
