    Bible Study Idea #8

    Study the bible using the inductive method
    The inductive method comprises of;
    • Observation - is seeing what the text is saying.
    • Interpretation - is discovering what the text means.
    • Application - is putting yourself in the text and imagining how would you handle it.
    Ask yourself who, what, when, where, why and think how does it reflect in your life. Inductive signals that I use are God (Lord), Spirit (Holy Spirit), Die (Death), Devil (Evil spirits, Mediums, serpent), Love, Gods Love, Grace, Time, geographic location, Orange Line (who the scripture is talking about), Light Blue Line (who wrote the scripture, the author).

    Bible Study Idea #7

    Prayer

    Prayer is important to have during the time of Bible study. This can bring more understanding to what you are studying.
    While you pray you must remember the book of ACTS (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication).
    • Adoration - I start my prayers with "Lord you are gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and of great mercy". This is from Psalms 145:8 (KJV). Just adore the Lord. He is the Alpha and the Omega, beautiful, our father, a friend, and a forgiving God.
    • Confession - If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me, Psalms 66:18 (KJV) Confession is asking God to open your eyes and reveal you're wrong doing. Confession brings restoration and healing from the Holy Spirit.
    • Thanksgiving - Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people, 1 Chronicle 16:8 (KJV) Go ahead give all the thanks to God who created everything. Give thanks for another beautiful day and good health (including your fingers and toes - what would you do without them?)
    • Supplication - Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God, Philippians 4:6 (KJV). Here is where you ask God for your request, for your needs and others as they are important too.

    A list of items important to your Bible Study

    King James Version Bible (KJV)

    Please Note: If you don't have a KJV bible, please email me, your information and why have you become a believer or want to become a believer with your information and we will send you a free bible.

    As you become a believer, you won't need any help in translating what you read. I don't trust nor believe in any other bible except the King James Version. (I will be making a blog about why) You have to trust in God to give you the translation you need.
