Ephesians 4: 26-32
Breaking the chains of anger bondage - Galatians 5:16-23
1. Why do I get angry?
- Fruit of the flesh
2. What is the difference between anger and wrath?
- Wrath (wrath) is felt inside (anger)
3. Is it always a sin to get angry?
- YES
4. What about righteous indignation?
- You can sin without anger
5. What about Ephesians 4:26-27?
- Stirring (be ye angry)
- Sinning (and sin not)
- Settling (let not the sun go don't upon your wrath)
- Signing over (neither give place to the devil)
6. Didn't Jesus get angry?
- Yes
7. How does anger affect my home?
- The children grow up to be the same
- You can not blame the past.
8. How do I overcome my anger bondage?
- Refuse anger vs. 26, 2 Cor 2:10-11, Eph 6:12
- Refuse to HELP satan.
- Refuse to HARBOR anger, (divorce, breakups, the loss of a loved one)
- Refuse to HEAT up quickly.
- Resolve Anger vs. 30
- Guard your HEART, 1 John 1:9, Prov 4:23
- Guard your MOUTH vs. 29, 1 Cor 15:33, Prov 15:1.
- Replace Anger
- with Humility - vs. 32, 1 Pet 8:3
- with Forgiveness - vs. 32, Matt 6:12
Matt 18:33-35 - Give back in the past and forgive them!
