Bible Study-Give me more of Jesus Class Notes

Text: Psalms 73:25

"Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee."

-Always want more

"And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat. And they departed into a desert place by ship privately." (Mar 6:31-32)

"And the people saw them departing, and many knew him, and ran afoot thither out of all cities, and outwent them, and came together unto him." (Mar 6:33)

-More of his compassion

"And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things." (Mar 6:34)

-More of his word

"And when the day was now fear spent, his disciples came unto him, and said, this is a desert place, and now the time is far passed. Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat." (Mar 6:35)

-Spend more time soaking in the word.
-Schedule your time to spend reading the word.

"And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil and had the legion sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind and they were afraid." (Mar 5:15, Mat 4:23)

-More of his love

"A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." (Joh 13:34)

-We need more Jesus
-We show others the love of Jesus

Conclusion: "And it came to pass, that as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret." (Luk 5:1) "For he  had healed many; in so much that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many, as had plagues." (Mar 3:10) "Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none earth that I desire beside thee." (Psa 73:25)

How about you, do you want more of Jesus?
