Who is God... F-Father, Faithful, First Fruits, First Begotten, Fire (Consuming), Forgiving, Fortress, Firm Foundation, Fountain of Living Water, Friend.

Old Testament: companion; one for whom affection is held
New Testament: familiar associate; comrade; neighbor; one of whom we are fond

Friend: person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard; one who gives assistance
Synonyms: ally, buddy, cohort, crony, mate, sidekick
Antonyms: enemy, foe

     1. get them to like you

     3. show unconditional support and encouragement; be clear about expectations
B. The Friendship Relationship
     1. Acquaintance-someone you know in passing
     2. Friend-someone with whom you spend time and bond
     3. Good Friend-someone who knows the most about your life, with whom you go through ups and           downs of life; someone in your inner circle
     4. Best Friends-someone with whom you spend a lot of time; the first your call when excited,                   upset...someone who is there during the important moments; the one you think about during                 those times if they are not there.
