Our Christian Idolatry

Introduction: We are not to worship IDOLS, God doesn't like are unfaithfulness, today we are tempering God and changing him to our way, our satisfaction, (IDOLATRY) our lifestyle.
Judges 6:25-28; 2 Cor 6:16

1. The REALITY of "Christian Idolatry"

• Idols are INVENTED (Lev 19:4; Lev 26:1)
• Idols are INFERIOR (1 Chr 16:26; Exo 20:4; Deut 27:15)
• Idols can be INCONSPICUOUS (1 Sam 15:23; Col 3:5; 1 Sam 13:14; Rom 6:13; 1 Sam 15:28.)

THINGS cannot bring you LONGTERM joy.

2. The REMOVAL of "Christian Idolatry"

• We must SEARCH our hearts. (Ps 139:23-24; Job 31:6; Ps 5:8; Ps 25:4)

Ask God to SEARCH your heart.

• We must STAND for the right. (Jdg 6:28)

Keeping God, the God of the BIBLE

• We must be SELECTIVE (2 Chr 24:18; Jdg 5:8)
• We must SANCTIFY (Clean Up) our temple (2 Cor 6:16)

3. The REWARDS of "Christian Integrity" 1The 1:9

• LIVE our lives Gods way; brings great BALANCE in our lives.
