Craving for Christ

You need to have a craving for Christ
Hunger & Thirst

Text: Mat 5:6, Mat 5:1-12

1. The NECESSITY for spiritual food.
a. Your spirit never dies after receiving it.

2. The REGULARITY of spiritual food.
a. You need a regimen for regularity, Joshua 1:8, Psalms 1:2 (Meditate day & night)

• plan in advance (read a proverb a day)
• make time, take time (you will make time for what is important to you)
• daily consumption to have the right spirit.

3. The TYPES of spiritual food.
a. MILK of the word.
b. MEAT of the word.

• You drink the milk of the word in order to grow to get to the meat level to be able to chew the meat of the word.

4. The nourishment of spiritual food, Mat 5:6 (they shall be filled)
a. Spiritual satisfaction - Psalms 34:4 (you will be filled & satisfied)
b. Divine protection - Daniel 6:19-23 (God does not protect in deliverance, God does let things happen.

• How many bibles do you own?
• Is it everywhere that you can reach?
• Do you read it?
