Text: Deut 31:11-13

- Teach your children to fear God
- Teach them that if you disobey mom & Dad, but you also disobey God.
- Never leave the presence of God.
- God is the supreme authority.
- You need to see the repentance in them.
- Do fathers represent God?

Pitfalls

1. Ignorance
- Giving into NO.
- Inspect constant what is going on.
- Setting boundaries on the phones. Prov 28:26.
- Electronics should be locked. Deut 31:11, Heb 13:17.
-You as a parent have to give an acct, to how your child turns out.

2. Indulgence
- 2 Chr 22:2-4, Deut 5 (Jealous God)
- What you do in moderation, your children will excess.
- They (children) justified your behavior.
- Don't put those stumbling block in front of your children.
- Home/School/Church
- The 3 institutions that can take effect, the born desire to sin - and the less of those three are the reason.

3. InconcistancyLuke 15:11-24
- Consistency at home brings security.
- Prodical child.
- Stay consistent that God is in your life.
- Are you consistent at home?
- Never raise your voice, punish first time every time.
- You must obey yourself.
- Consistent with your lifestyle.
