• Rom 5:18-20, 5x in 3 verses
• To compound a difference-"admit you have a problem" to fix a problem
• To change mutually-"we make mistakes, not God"
• To reconcile-"we must agree to make changes"
3. The Elements of reconciliation-vs 19
• Offender: Rebellion through selfishness
• Offended: Redemption through selfishness
• Offended: Remission through suffering
• Offender: Repentance through submission.
• In the beginning when eve eat them from the tree (downward spiral of sin)
• Gen 3:15-24 the redemption plan our punishment
• Jesus dying on the cross for our sin, Luke 22-24.
• accepting God in our hearts, John 3:16, Luke 23:39-43, 23:34.
4. The Enemies of reconciliation
• Lust of the flesh (unrighteousness) Jam 4:1, 2 Tim 2:22, Jam 3:18, Isa 2:23, Psa 85:10.
• Lack of understanding-1 Pet 2:24
• Lost of perspective-vs 14, 18
5. The Effort of reconciliation vs 21
• The exchange of equivalent values.
• The adjustment of difference, it is finished teldestidie.
• The restoration to favor.
