1. Tower
- Dictionary: (noun) military structure; vineyard attachment (seemed necessary); today, used to lodge keepers of the vineyard (verb) to rise above or surpass others.
- Strongs: tower; elevated stage; pulpit high place; refuge; secure height; retreat.
- David's confidence and trust in the Lord (Psalm 18:1-3, 25-40)
- David's testimony of God's deliverance (Psalms 18:4-6, 16-24, 43-50)
- David's witness of God's judgement and wrath (Psalms 18:7-15, 41-42)
3. My "High Tower"
- A high place of refuge, secured height ; a place of retreat (Ps 18:2, 144:2)
- Where my confidence and trust is placed in God
- An elevated stage (Ps 6:13, Prov 18:10)
- Where I see God's deliverance
- A high place to enable me to see in every direction (Mt 21:33, Mk 12:1)
- Where I see God's judgment and wrath on the enemy
