Conclusion:
Deut 3:23-29 Moses' appeal to God's displeasure. Although Moses and the Israelites did not go into the Promised Land, Moses did get to see it from afar, and the children of the "wilderness" Israelites went in to claim it. I can have peace in my disappointments when I set my heart and life to please Him, allowing Him to accomplish His work in and through me.
